We often see natural phenomenas happening but have you ever wondered the reason behind them? One of them is Fog. Due to todays rising pollution levels, many of confuse SMOG with FOG.
Fog is natural, just water droplets suspended in the air. Smog, on the other hand, is a harmful mix of smoke, pollutants, and fog, often caused by vehicle emissions and industrial activity.
Rain is major component for neutralizing the AQI to a certain extent. After it rains, AQI usually improves because rain helps wash away airborne pollutants, especially PM2.5 and PM10 particles. But this effect is temporary. once the rain stops, pollution levels can bounce back if sources aren’t controlled.
